Our Community Pathway
Our Community Pathway creates opportunities for everyone - from babies to older residents - to take part in meaningful, high-quality music-making. From early-years Mini Music sessions and intergenerational Community Choirs to creative health and wellbeing programmes, we use music to build confidence, connection and belonging, break down rural isolation and strengthen the fabric of life across Suffolk.
Our Programmes Include:
Mini Music (0–4s)
Weekly sessions for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups-led by MORABE Early Years Musicians, nurturing musical play, bonding and early listening skills in a warm, welcoming community space.
Community Choir
A friendly welcoming choir open to parents, carers and local residents. No experience needed - just a love of singing and togetherness.
Performances & Community Events
From care homes and village gatherings to stages like Snape Maltings, our intergenerational performances celebrate creativity and connection across rural Suffolk.
MORABE Singing Mamas: Maternal Wellbeing Programme
A free 10-week singing-for-wellbeing programme for pregnant women and new mums, delivered in partnership with Singing Mamas and the Suffolk Pre- and Postnatal Mental Health Network.
Why It Matters
Music strengthens community life. It connects people, reduces loneliness and improves wellbeing. Through our Community Pathway, we create inclusive spaces where everyone can access meaningful musical opportunities, helping to reduce rural isolation and build healthier, happier, more connected communities.
